Helen Rollins

Helen Rollins is a writer and filmmaker interested in the intersection between art and philosophy. She has written, directed and produced several short films that have played in festivals throughout the world, as well as many music videos that have been viewed many millions of times online. A number of her narrative short films have won awards and been picked up for broadcast.

Her recent documentary miniseries on cult televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker – which she developed, co-wrote and executive produced – played at Sundance 2024 and was also executive produced by David Furnish and Elton John. Her micro budget philosophy documentary, A Guide to Making Love, will soon be released by Sublation Media. Helen’s book readdressing the connection between film and psychoanalysis will be released by Polity in its Theory Redux series in September 2024.
