DOMINIC GREEN
Dominic Green is a historian, columnist, and critic. He is a contributor to The Wall Street Journal, a columnist and essayist for the Washington Examiner, and the Jewish Chronicle, a contributing editor and columnist at The Critic, and a frequent contributor to Free Press and the London Telegraph. He was previously editor-in-chief of the U.S. edition of The Spectator. He has also written on current affairs, history, literature, and art for The Times of London, The Atlantic, The Economist, The New Criterion, The New York Post, National Review, The National Interest, The New Republic, Commentary, History Today, First Things, The Literary Review, Standpoint, the Washington Free Beacon, and The Oldie.
Dominic has written several works of non-fiction, including The Double Life of Dr. Lopez, which the Sunday Times of London called ‘popular history at its best’, Three Empires on the Nile, which may be the only book ever to have been acclaimed by both Foreign Affairs and Entertainment Weekly; and The Religious Revolution, a groundbreaking history of the nineteenth century.
Dominic trained at Oxford and Harvard, and holds a PhD from Brandeis University, where he was the Mandel Fellow in the Humanities. He is an elected fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the Royal Society of Arts, and a senior fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and the Center for American Culture and Ideas at the University of Phoenix.
