Glenn Belverio is a film and video maker who lives and works in New York City. In 1990, he began producing the popular Manhattan Cable seriesย The Brenda and Glennda Show (later Glennda and Friends), a talk show that took the art of drag out of nightclubs and into the streets, mixing politics with humor.

Glenn co-hosted the show as Glennda Orgasm with Brenda Sexual (Duncan Elliott). It featured provocative co-stars such as queer filmmaker Bruce LaBruce and guerrilla scholar Camille Paglia. Belverio and Paglia’s collaborative projectย Glennda and Camille Do Downtownย later became a short film and premiered at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival.ย 

Glenn’s work has screened at venues such as ICA London, the Walker Art Center, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Wexner Center for the Arts, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, UnionDocs, the Brooklyn Museum, Anthology Film Archives, and the Rotterdam International Film Festival. In October 2025 his videoย One Man Ladiesย will be featured in the MoMA PS1 exhibitionย Vaginal Davis: Magnificent Product.ย
