J.F. Martel is a writer and lecturer on art, culture, and philosophy. He is the author of Reclaiming Art in the Age of Artifice and Reality is Analog. With musicologist Phil Ford, Martel co-hosts the popular podcast Weird Studies. He lives in Ottawa, Canada.
