Tim Rutherford-Johnson is a British new music critic and journalist. He is the author of Music after the Fall: Modern Composition and Culture since 1989 , The Music of Liza Lim, and co-author of Twentieth-Century Music in the West.
He writes regularly for numerous publications, venues, and record labels in the UK and Europe and publishes a fortnightly newsletter on new music, Purposeful Listening.
